Dewis Housing
Dewis is a charitable organisation offering a range of supported accommodation services, information and advice on housing for young people aged between 16 and 25 in the Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend County Borough areas. Established in 1997, we have over 30 years experience of working with and supporting young people through expert, friendly and young person centred support.
Dewis offers the following services:-
Supported Accommodation Scheme for young people who are homeless, potentially homeless or in other housing need in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough area.
Bond Board Scheme to help young single people and childless couples who are in receipt of benefits, or have a low income, to access good quality private rented accommodation by providing Landlords with a paper Bond.
Crisis Support Scheme properties based in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend offering temporary and emergency accommodation via referral from Social Services and/or Housing Options teams.
Dewis is committed to addressing homelessness and we work closely with other organisations and the wider community to achieve this goal. We offer information, advice and guidance for young people on homelessness, housing, and financial matters and, work closely with our strategic partners to address critical issues in young peoples' lives.
