I gather Kelp (Laminaria digitata) by swimming out and cutting it sustainably from the clear waters around St Davids Peninsula in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It really only becomes visible at very low tides but is found in many areas of the world. It is a brown seaweed that hydrates, soothes and stimulates collagen and improves dull complexions. It is known to revitalize tired-looking skin and is an effective anti-oxidant helping repair damage caused by free radicals.
Kelp is an ingredient in many, many cosmetic and body treatments including cleansing Julia muds, bath soak products, facial masks and toners, toothpastes, body scrubs, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, shaving lotion, hand creams, repair creams, skin rejuvenators, hydrators, and moisturizers.
