Pen Y Fan Dusk - Oil on Canvas

Fourth of the #PenyFan series. Oil on canvas presented in a deluxe gallery frame.

A limited palette of oils using both brush and knife techniques 'Pen y Fan Dusk', is an imagined scene inspired from a collage of the artist's photographs of the general area of Pen y Fan mountains in Wales.

Late summer; a warm evening; the sky is full of the relaxing hues of pinks and blues.

The sun has set behind the trees - the last rays sending a shard of orange light onto a cornfield in the midground. A small cottage adds a romantic focal point. The foreground is populated by grasses and wildflowers.

The outline of the Brecon mountain of Pen y Fan overlooks the scene adding depth to this unique and original work.

Total size in frame: 32x32". This impressive work will add a very distinct feel to any room.
