I gather the Sea Lettuce (Ulva lactuca) sustainably from the seashore in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Our skin likes this seaweed’s nutrients such as beta-carotene, potassium, zinc and iodine which they absorb directly from the ocean, and amazingly these nutrients are more potent than they are in land plants. Seaweed is naturally anti-inflammatory and full of beneficial vitamins and minerals. It has excellent skin-boosting properties that improve condition and stimulate production and repair of collagen. It is hydrating and rejuvenating and protects the skin from damage caused by exposure to ultraviolet B radiation from sunlight. Sea lettuce helps to prevent fine lines from forming and keeps the skin revitalized, moisturized, and youthful.
